Outstanding 2nd Annual Smith Engineering Charity Golf Tournament!

A great deal of fun was had at our 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Mercy Ships. The weather was beautiful and the golfers enthusiastic. There was a real sense of community attributed to our collective goal. Over $12,000.00 was raised and will be given to offset the expense of the Smith designed high-quality water treatment system that will supply all the laboratories and operating rooms on the new ship now under construction.

More than 90 golfers completed 18 holes of golf. Previous guests that could not attend sent gifts or donations. New this year was a “Mercy Ships Party Cart”. Winners of the party cart enjoyed butler service, free drinks, snacks and a JBL blue tooth speaker! Also new this year were “Opportunity Bags”. Each bag contained a putt ribbon, four mulligan’s and a chance to win a prize playing the pink ball game.
