Meet the new faces at Smith!
Nina Roy is our new Technical Sales Support Specialist. Nina grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota where her family still lives. Nina has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
She is an avid reader. Her favorite genre being genetic engineering fiction!
During her time at UMD, Nina and her two teammates were finalists in the Global Sustainability Competition. They received an all-expenses paid trip to Nashville, Tennessee and presented at The Society of Women Engineers National Conference.
Logan Devereux is our newest Mechanical Engineer. Logan is from Carver, Minnesota and went to the University of Minnesota Duluth. He enjoys fishing, hunting and games.
Also new to Smith is our Customer Service Representative, Cassie Schneider. Cassie is from Mayer, Minnesota but currently lives in Cologne. She is married to Phil and has two Golden Retrievers, Cooper and Daisy. Cassie went to St. Cloud State University. She enjoys days on the lake jet skiing. She also enjoys dirt biking, quilting, movies, reading, baking, game nights and bonfires.
A goal Cassie is proud of is her home she and her husband purchased in the country last year.
Kristin Werner has an Automation Robotics Engineering Technology (A.A.S.) certification from Hennepin Technical College. She is a Service Technician for Smith and her robotics background is advantageous for our Service Team.
Kristin enjoys volleyball and her dogs and cats. She has a special interest in technology that aids seniors in their daily living and enables them to stay in their homes longer.
Jessica Wegmeyer joined Smith’s Purchasing Department. She lives in Saint Louis Park with her unregistered (smiley-face) domestic partner, Jeremy. She says she has no other kids! (Another smiley-face!)
Jessica has a degree in Graphic Design from Hennepin Technical College. She enjoys gaming, reading, baking and Sci-Fi movies and shows. When asked if there is something no one knows about her she said, “N/A, I’m an open book!”
